I am passionate about continuing education opportunities to provide my patients with the latest knowledge and best practices to improve their oral health and overall well-being. These opportunities are important to me because I am always looking to advance my skills and the level of care I can provide at my practice, and so I recently started attending a training course at the Resnik Implant Institute. Read on to learn more about the workshop I attended and how it relates to your care.
Surgical Program at the Resnik Implant Institute
I recently started a new implant surgery training program that I will be continuing over the next six months. I’m excited to be a part of this program because the surgeries I do now are some of the most enjoyable procedures I perform at my practice. Replacing someone’s missing tooth or teeth is very rewarding because it can be truly life changing and improve their quality of life and health. This extensive training program is an opportunity for me to expand my current skills, which will allow me to personally help more patients here in the office. It also means that I will be referring fewer patients to another professional for treatment.
If you are not already aware, my father is a retired dentist, and having worked with him in the past, I was able to see him perform extensive surgeries and learn directly from his expertise. I’ve missed seeing him at work daily, on a personal and professional level, so I cherish being able to continue my education with him right next to me. It’s also like having my own personal coach because he’s already been through this program!
